MAIN STUFF:

Torch & Drum, outdoor weather clothing shoes, indoor footwear, sleeping bag, celebratory food Xmas to share




INDOORS


  • TEA & DANCING: warm indoor footwear (shoes off area)






  • DRUMMING & MUSIC: can bring own drum, rattle and we provide drums for the Tribal Drumming circle. Morning: A lot of musicians stay at the Newgrange after sunrise to do some jamming.


  • SLEEPOVER*: sleeping bag, meditation blanket, cushion or pillow. (the floors will be layered with duvets)


  • SENSITIVE: there will be two fire places and fire heaters going. Some attendees bring hot water bottle / ear plugs. We’ll only have 5 hours to sleep before greeting the sunrise together.

*If you have booked your room in the adjacent wedding venue - you don’t need to bring anything for the communal sleepover

  • torch, warm weatherproof gear
  • Comfortable shoes (depending on how close we get to park @ the Newgrange monument - we’ll be walking a bit as the Gardai manage the car traffic there.)

14:30 Meeting at Dowth monument**

Public Transport to Slane village: Journey Planner | Carpool to Dowth . Then heading for the Millhouse overnight venue, Slane.

** If you can get to the Millhouse by 14:00, there will be a couple of volunteers heading up to Dowth for the opening circle ceremony (driving)
